Saskia's Story
Hi,
I’m Saskia and perhaps one of the most enthusiastic people you’ll ever talk travel with. Having worked in the travel industry for many years before becoming a secondary school History teacher, and later a Deputy Principal, I am returning to my roots. I am returning to what I am most passionate about: travel and organising. Often people say that they love travel, and that it is in their veins. For me, this isn’t just talk. Each school holiday I would go overseas to some far-flung location to experience the culture, sample the food and be absorbed in the destination. A safari in Kenya and Tanzania, walking around a favela in Brazil, climbing mountains in Borneo, learning how to be a gladiator in Rome, dog sledding with the Inuit in Greenland … you say a place and I may have been there, or I am researching for my bucket list. This means I am perfect to help you plan your dream holiday, or your weekend getaway. I have extensive travel knowledge and I have also been invited to write for several travel companies such as Geckos and Imaginative Traveler. I am an avid traveler and was part of the winning team that won the title of World’s Greatest Traveler in the Global Scavenger Hunt. |
If you’re looking for luxury, you’re on a backpacker budget, or anything in between, I’m your perfect travel consultant. Large school groups to Canada, USA and South-East Asia, a weekend trip to London from Auckland to watch FA Cup football, snorkeling in breathtaking beauty in the Maldives and the Philippines, roughing around West Africa, seeing important military sites in Europe, Asia, the Pacific and North Africa; I’ve done it all. My knowledge will help you make your travel dreams a reality and if I don’t know it, the contacts I have cultivated around the world will help me. So, what are you wanting for? Call or email me to book your next adventure. |
