Before the Covid Pandemic hit in 2020, 99% of the worlds airlines paid travel agents like ourselves commission - back when we started in the late 90's it was 10% - this is how we used to get paid. As the global travel recession continued for such a long time, the airlines gradually took this commission away from us - trying every tatic imaginable to survive. Unfortunately in this now almost post Covid world, the airlines have decided not to reinstate our commission.
So ... in order for us to earn a living we, like the other big travel companies, charge a service fee. However, unlike the big travel companies - we are not chasing targets, trying to pay our rent or selling you a product that doesn't suit your needs just so we can make a sale!
We are a boutique agency, based 3kms out of town in our stylish converted garage, where our overheads are low and our enthusiam is high.
